Healthy and Local Materials

We are very conscious of protecting the health of our clients as well as of the work crews who build the buildings we design.

We therefore aim to recommend and specify non-toxic building materials, and materials with no VOC emissions.

We strive to use as many recycled/recyclable materials as possible, to specify Forest Stewardship Certified (FSC) wood and to select materials and products that are local, as well as materials with low embodied energy.
